We welcome you to this website of the Minneapolis Meditation Group of Self-Realization Fellowship (SRF). SRF is an international nonprofit religious society founded in 1920 by Paramahansa Yogananda. The society is dedicated to carrying on the spiritual and humanitarian work that he began—seeking to foster greater harmony and understanding among those of all races, religions, and nationalities, and introducing to truth-seekers all over the world his universal teachings on the ancient science of Yoga.
Currently we offer a Sunday readings service at 10:30 AM each Sunday. Also, on the last Saturday of each month, we have a long meditation from 7:30 until noon. Beginning Sunday, July 3rd, we will also offer a meditation service every Sunday from 9:30 to 10:15. Weather permitting, we will practice the energization exercises together on the patio at 9:00. If the weather does not permit, please practice the energization exercises before you arrive. We ask that no one practice them inside the building at any time. Thank you for your cooperation.
WE ARE NO LONGER ASKING PEOPLE TO REGISTER TO ATTEND THE SERVICE.
Please review the Covid Updates page before attending the service. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with the group’s Covid-related policies.
Every Wednesday night, unless preempted by special events, we hold the SRF Lessons Reading Group via ZOOM. You need to be an SRF Lessons Student to participate. Please contact Virtual Meetings (virtualmeetings@srfminneapolis.org) to receive the instructions on how to connect to these meetings.
